Talk by Thupten Jinpa, the Dalai Lama’s main English translator and author of the Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT), at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California on his book, "A Fearless Heart".
 
Talk presented at Stanford University by Dr. Kelly McGonigal on the science of compassion. Dr. McGonigal is a research psychologist, as well as a yoga instructor and meditation practitioner. She was directly involved in creating the Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) alongside Thupten Jinpa. Kelly was my first CCT teacher and she deeply influenced my work.

Week Three: Maintaining Balance as We Care for Others ​
Resilience, Compassion and Meditation is an article written by Mathieu Ricard, Tibetan monk and research subject. This fascinating article gives readers a view into one of the first studies on the neuroscience of compassion and empathy. The data collected in this study supports evidence for the value of practicing compassion-based meditation to help protect against empathic fatigue and burnout.

Sylvia Dolce is a certified CCT Instructor from the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education, Stanford University. Founder of Integrative Self Care. She has a masters degree in art therapy. She is certified as a  guided imagery practitioner, as well as a yoga instructor. Sylvia has been a meditation practitioner for 35 years. She shares her skills and experience with organizations and communities in the USA, Canada and Europe.
