Sustaining HeArtfullness (SH)

Sustaining HeArtfullness is a 6-week program that uses creative expression, imagery, meditation, compassion-based skills, and journaling to help participants sustain fullness of heart in a challenging world.

Sessions are designed to be restorative, while also empowering participants to access inner wisdom that lies beyond rational, linear thinking. This practical, skill-based training provides a supportive environment to practice evidence-based, selfcare tools that lead to greater resilience, vitality, and joy.

Sustaining HeArtfullness Training Includes
  • 2 hours per week of contemplative reflection using art, imagery,  journaling, compassion-based skill-building exercises, group sharing and meditation.
  • The 5th session is an all day, self-care retreat that includes gentle yoga, a self-appreciation exercise, contemplative art-making, and journaling (10am to 4pm).
  • Access to a class webpage that provides links to guided audio meditations, research articles, and other helpful resources for participants who are interested in expanding beyond the material covered in class.
